From 19 to 23 January 2026, the 56th edition of the World Economic Forum (WEF) will take place — an event that for decades has brought together leaders from business, politics, science, and culture in Switzerland. The Polish business and expert community has decided to strengthen Poland’s presence in Davos by launching Leaders Forum powered by Poland.

The five-day event is organized by the Centre for International Relations Foundation and THINKTANK, with Autopay, Adamed, and Żabka Group as the main partners.

CEOs of Polish companies, analysts, scientists, and representatives of the cultural sector will take part in the prestigious Leaders Forum powered by Poland, held alongside the World Economic Forum in Davos in January 2026.

“Our voice must be heard,” emphasize the organizers.

Five days of panel discussions, presentations, and high-level meetings. During the upcoming World Economic Forum in Davos, Leaders Forum powered by Poland will take place — a prestigious event organized by Polish research institutions in cooperation with the most innovative companies from the country.

This highly prestigious summit, bringing together global leaders from business, politics, science, and culture, will take place in Switzerland for the 56th time — but for the first time with such a strong and clearly defined Polish presence.

Only days separate us from this year’s edition of the World Economic Forum in Davos. This year’s Forum will be held under the theme “A Spirit of Dialogue”—a spirit that is increasingly lacking in today’s world.

There is, however, very positive news to highlight: once again, the Polish expert and business community is organizing a five-day side event accompanying the Forum — Leaders Forum powered by Poland.

With over 12,000 stores visited daily by more than 4 million customers, openness to innovation and new technologies, and cooperation with international logistics leaders such as DHL eCommerce, the Żabka Group has become one of the most significant ambassadors of Polish business worldwide.

The World Economic Forum in Davos is an opportunity for Polish companies to present themselves to an international audience. What did Polish entrepreneurs bring to the world’s most important economic event? I checked this on the ground in the town that, for one week, became a global center of politics and big business.

Initiatives of enormous importance — including for Poland — were launched during the Leaders Forum Powered by Poland in Davos, said Deputy Minister of Digital Affairs Dariusz Standerski.

“This year in Davos, the most important long-term developments took place in rooms such as the Leaders Forum, even more so than at the Peace Council attended by a dozen prime ministers and presidents. Why? Because at events like these, which may seem to be overshadowed by other debates, we usually see the effects—or lack thereof—of actions that were taken earlier,” Deputy Minister Standerski noted.

He added that venues such as the Leaders Forum Powered by Poland in Davos hosted discussions about the future and served as the starting point for initiatives that we will hear about in the coming months or years.
